We stand with Nadia Sawalha!

We are a movement in our millions. We mobilise week after week, we organise in our workplaces, our hospitals and our universities, and we hold real grassroots power. Nadia Sawalha said what millions of us believe, and she is being punished for it. We will not let her stand alone.

For more than 20 years, Nadia Sawalha has been one of Britain's best-loved television personalities. As one of Loose Women's original panellists, she helped build a programme founded by women speaking honestly, sharing their opinions and tackling difficult conversations.

For years, millions of viewers have laughed with Nadia, cried with her and watched her openly share the most personal parts of her life, from motherhood and marriage to mental health, family and identity. She has never hidden who she is or what she believes. Her unfiltered honesty is the reason so many people feel they know and trust her.

Following Nadia's public support for Palestine she became the target of an increasingly coordinated smear campaign by pro-Israeli groups including the discredited Campaign Against Antisemitism. The situation escalated in 2026 after her husband, Mark Adderley, sought to stand and was elected as a Green Party councillor. Both Mark and Nadia became the subject of public allegations of antisemitism, extensive media coverage and organised calls for ITV to remove Nadia from Loose Women. An open letter signed by prominent pro-Israel media figures wrote to ITV urging them not to reinstate her, making serious allegations about Nadia's social media activity and describing her as having promoted "antisemitic rhetoric." In June 2026, the Daily Mail and Metro had to apologise and pay damages after falsely claiming that Nadia Sawalha and Mark Adderley supported antisemitism and terrorism.

Despite this, ITV has refused to put Nadia on Loose Women since May 2026, and she has no idea when she'll return.

A separate petition calling on ITV not to reinstate Nadia attracted more than 10,000 signatures. This petition is our response. We believe no one should face bullying or unfair treatment at work for expressing support for Palestine and against injustice.
